Noel Johnson
M.A., L-SLP, CCC-SLP

Noel Johnson is a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to providing evidence-based, family-centered care to children with communication disorders. She earned her B.A. from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2022 and her M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology from Louisiana State University in 2024, where she was honored with the Outstanding Master’s Clinician Award in recognition of her clinical excellence.

During her graduate training, Noel gained experience in school-age speech and language services, early intervention, cleft and craniofacial, and hospital-based outpatient settings. She stayed in Baton Rouge to complete a specialized clinical fellowship program that provided advanced mentorship and shadowing opportunities with interdisciplinary training in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), infant and pediatric feeding, NICU services, and specialty clinics serving children with Down syndrome, cleft palate, and velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI). Noel is committed to supporting children in accessing functional, meaningful communication through individualized, multimodal approaches, including speech-generating devices. She values a multidisciplinary team approach and prioritizes collaboration with families and allied professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care that supports each child’s long-term success.

Being from the small town of Franklin, Noel knew the 'big city' of Baton Rouge wouldn't be a permanent location for her. She is ecstatic to be closer to home, serving the families and the community close to her heart. When not working, you can catch her crafting, thrifting/antiquing, or spending time in the outdoors with a good book, enjoying the peace it brings.
